Job summary

Workchain is seeking an HGV Class 2 Driver for day-shift deliveries from a Nottingham operation. The role requires a valid HGV Class 2 licence, CPC, and tachograph card, with reliable, professional service on delivery days.

£16 per hour pay, temporary position with weekly wages, and opportunities to be visible to local employers. Candidates should be able to load/unload furniture and work closely with transport and warehouse teams.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 driving licence.
• Driver CPC qualification and digital tachograph card.
• Good knowledge of safe loading and vehicle checks.
• Reliable, punctual and customer-focused attitude.
• Able to handle physical delivery work, including moving furniture.

Responsibilities

• Complete planned deliveries safely and on time.
• Drive an HGV Class 2 vehicle in line with road and transport regulations.
• Load, unload and secure furniture and other goods appropriately.
• Carry out delivery checks and report any issues promptly.
• Provide polite, professional service at delivery locations.
• Complete relevant paperwork and vehicle checks.
• Work closely with the transport and warehouse teams.
