Pay Range

This range is provided by Curtis Hotel Bedroom Furniture. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.

Base pay range

£13.00 per hour

Employment Details

• Full Time; Permanent
• Location: Leeds LS10, West Yorkshire
• Schedule: Monday to Thursday 7am to 3.30pm and Friday 7am to 2.30pm

Company Profile

Our client, based on the outskirts of Leeds, has been established for 27 years and is the market leader in the manufacture of furniture for the Hospitality Industry. They manufacture and fit out hotels with bespoke furniture for clients such as Hilton, Sheraton, Holiday Inn & Crowne Plaza.

Position Overview

This position is suitable for candidates with experience in furniture assembly and some interest or experience in operating wood machinery. Training will be provided.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1. Basic health and safety awareness, including manual handling
2. Furniture assembly
3. Learning to operate woodwork machinery
4. Quality checking and fault identification
5. Packing products
6. Backing off machinery within the factory
7. Moving work in progress around the factory

Essential Skills

• Willingness to learn various factory areas including upholstery, polishing/spraying, furniture assembly, and machinery (Beam saw, CNC, Edge Bander)
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently
• High standard of quality work
• Good communication skills
• Proactive with initiative
