The role involves setting up and operating strand annealing furnaces, monitoring temperatures, gas flow, and speeds, and carrying out quality checks throughout production to ensure finished products meet standards.

Temporary to Permanent

Rotating Shifts

• 6:00am - 2:00pm
• 2:00pm - 10:00pm
• 10:00pm - 6:00am

Stafforce Recruitment are recruiting for a Furnace Operator to join a leading manufacturing company in Rotherham. This is an excellent opportunity offering long-term work with the chance of a permanent contract.

The Role

• Adhere to all Health & Safety procedures when working with furnaces and machinery

What We're Looking For

• Previous manufacturing or factory experience (steel industry experience desirable)
• Good attention to detail and quality standards
• Strong understanding of Health & Safety
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude
• FLT licence desirable but not essential
