Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence is required.
• Ability to perform the physical aspects of the role (manual lifting) with provided training.
• Good IT skills and ability to use various devices and systems.
• Ability to remain calm and compassionate in emotional situations, with strong customer service.
• Attention to detail and adherence to regulatory policies.

Responsibilities

• Collect the deceased from various locations in a professional manner.
• Bear coffins and drive funeral vehicles on the day of the funeral.
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and vehicles.
• Prepare coffins and engrave name plates.
• Prepare the deceased for viewings and funerals.
• Update client management systems with timely information.
• Safely lift and move coffins following health and safety guidance.
