This Alternative Funds tax team provides expert tax advisory, transaction, and compliance services to alternative fund managers across all asset classes, including private equity, venture capital, private debt, hedge funds, real estate, and infrastructure.
The client portfolio includes asset management, financial institutions, private equity, real estate investors, hedge funds, UK pension funds, and global institutional investors. They combine technical expertise with commercial insight to build trusted advisor relationships.
The team is part of a broader Financial Services Tax division, working across wealth and asset management, banking, capital markets, and insurance sectors.
They are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Associate Director / Senior Manager with strong UK tax compliance and advisory experience to join the London team. This role offers the opportunity to work on domestic and international structuring, transactions, and UK tax compliance and advisory matters, collaborating with a global network of tax professionals.
As a senior team member, you will manage the full spectrum of tax compliance and advisory services for asset managers and their funds across the investment lifecycle, including fund structuring, carried interest arrangements, asset investment and divestment structuring, and ongoing tax compliance and investor reporting.
Beyond technical skills, you will play a key role in business development, building strong client relationships and expanding the team's reach. The environment is fast-paced and evolving; agility, adaptability, and a growth mindset are essential.
