Job summary

SSQ LLP in London is seeking a Funds Associate (3–6 PQE) to join its expanding Funds team. You will advise on investment funds matters, including primary investments, secondaries and co-investments, and take ownership of sophisticated cross-border transactions.

The role offers early responsibility, opportunity to draft and negotiate key documents, lead negotiations with counterparties and collaborate closely with clients on complex deals within a supportive, merit-driven culture.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years' post-qualification experience at a leading law firm.
• Experience advising on fund transactions, including primary investments, secondaries and co-investments.
• Confidence drafting and negotiating complex transaction documentation, with facility agreements viewed favourably.
• Excellent technical ability, commercial awareness and communication skills.
• An ambitious, collaborative and entrepreneurial mindset.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of matters, draft and negotiate key transaction documents.
• Lead negotiations with counterparties and work directly with clients.
• Be involved throughout the lifecycle of each deal, from start to close.
