Job summary

Hireful is seeking a Fundraising Officer for a well-established national charity. This hybrid role requires 1–2 days per week in the Peterborough office and offers circa £32–£34k depending on skills and experience in fundraising.

You will be the friendly first point of contact for charity supporters, helping connect personal values with a lasting contribution while delivering campaigns across digital, social and print channels.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering engaging supporter acquisition and stewardship campaigns.
• Strong knowledge of charity fundraising, especially individual, legacy and in-memory giving.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with warmth and empathy.
• Highly organised, numerate, and comfortable using supporter databases.

We are looking for a creative, energetic, and empathetic Fundraising Officer to join this welcoming income generation team!

This is an exciting time of growth for the legacy and in-memory programmes at this well-established national charity, and you’ll play a pivotal role in expanding their reach over the next 3 to 5 years.

This hybrid role requires 1-2 days per week in the Peterborough office and pays circa £32-34,000 depending on your skills and experience in fundraising.

(Please note: The charity are open to part or full time working, anywhere from 30 hours upwards)

In this role, you’ll be the friendly first point of contact for the wonderful charity supporters, helping them connect their personal values with a lasting contribution.

You’ll bring campaigns to life across digital, social, and print channels, manage the free Will-writing partnerships, and help embed legacy giving.

What We're Looking For

• Experience in delivering engaging supporter acquisition and stewardship campaigns.
• Good knowledge of the charity and fundraising space, particularly individual giving, legacy and in-memory giving.
• Fantastic written, verbal, and interpersonal skills, with a natural warmth and sensitivity when handling important conversations.
• Highly organised, numerate, and comfortable using supporter databases.
