Do you have experience in planning and delivering in-person events? Would you like the opportunity to deliver fundraising events that attract, engage, and retain high-value supporters of the Science Museum?
The Science Museum is the UK's leading centre of science engagement and the most visited museum by school groups in the UK. Fundraising is essential to support our strategic ambitions and inspire future generations of scientists and engineers.
As a Fundraising Events Executive, you will help grow our income by delivering fundraising events that offer supporters an outstanding experience of the Science Museum Group. You will support the delivery and development of various cultivation and stewardship events, mainly at the Science Museum in London, aimed at engaging and retaining high-value supporters.
Events may include bespoke tours, exclusive lectures, networking receptions, and launch events, all designed to create a world-class supporter experience that encourages engagement and support for the museums.
You should have experience in planning and delivering in-person events within budget, understanding how events contribute to high-value fundraising. Strong organisational and project management skills are essential, along with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication skills, relationship-building abilities, stakeholder management experience, and the capacity to work collaboratively are crucial. We welcome applications from candidates whose experience may not match all criteria but possess transferable skills.
