Stowe School in Buckinghamshire seeks a highly organised, creative writer to lead Campaign for Stowe communications across the Stowe Group. You will shape donor communications and advocacy to showcase impact.

You will craft reports, manage the annual Impact Report, and create digital content for newsletters, website updates and social channels, collaborating with Marketing and the Development Office. This role blends copywriting, emotive storytelling and stakeholder engagement to raise awareness

Job description

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly organised, creative individual with exceptional writing skills to play a key role in driving forward Campaign for Stowe communications across the Stowe Group of schools.

The successful candidate will be at the heart of the Development Office’s donor stewardship strategy, creating inspiring year-round content that will strengthen our relationships with both donors, and potential donors, raising awareness of the impact of philanthropic support within the Group, and motivating the wider Stowe community to engage with current and future campaigns.

From writing engaging and inspiring campaign specific reports to donors, to managing the creation and production of our annual Impact Report, to creating digital content to showcase the Campaign’s impact through termly newsletters, website updates, and on our social channels, this is a varied and dynamic role requiring excellent copywriting and communication skills, attention to detail and a passion for emotive storytelling.

Reporting to the Deputy Director of Development, and working closely with Marketing, this role will advance awareness of the Campaign for Stowe, and strengthen relationships with its supporters, playing a pivotal role in supporting both Stowe, and the prep schools in the Group

Stowe School

Stowe School occupies Stowe House and approximately 200 acres of the Stowe estate and is located in Stowe’s world-famous landscape gardens set in 880 acres. Stowe School is an independent co-educational boarding School with approximately 900 pupils. There are around 500 full and part-time staff with 60 staff and their families living on site. The Stowe Group of schools (Stowe, Ashfold, Swanbourne House and Winchester House) are situated on four separate sites in Buckinghamshire and Northamptonshire and educate children from 3-18 years.
