Job Description:

Marie Curie is the UK’s leading end-of-life charity. We are the largest non-NHS provider of end-of-life care in the UK, delivering community nursing and hospice care across the country, and providing information and support on all aspects of dying, death, and bereavement. Our research advances understanding of good end-of-life care, and our campaigns advocate for a world where everyone can enjoy the best possible quality of life while living with a terminal illness.

Our mission for the next five years is to close the gap in end-of-life care access through:

  • Growing and transforming our direct care and support
  • Delivering more practical information and support
  • Leading in shaping the end-of-life experience

Your role in our mission…..

We’re hiring 5 Fundraising Assistants for various UK regions:

  • Belfast
  • Northampton
  • Solihull (1 x Permanent & 1 x FTC 9-month maternity cover)

Fundraising is vital to our work. Post-pandemic, our fundraising efforts have evolved, but community fundraising remains a priority. It’s an exciting time to join our team, which has ambitious plans and needs dedicated people to help achieve them.

Fundraising Assistants are often the first point of contact for families using our services, making them key to building relationships with potential supporters.
