Job summary

Lancashire Teaching Hospitals Charity, including Baby Beat, is seeking a Fundraising and Administration Assistant based at Royal Preston Hospital, Preston. This full-time role blends office work with community fundraising, donor stewardship and shop administration tasks.

You will help grow income through multi-year fundraising strategies, log donations, assist with finance tasks and support shop operations. A UK driving licence is essential to attend events and meet donors across Lancashire.

Qualifications

• Experience in fundraising or charity sector
• Knowledge of GDPR and data handling for donors
• GCSE Maths and English or equivalent
• Membership of Chartered Institute of Fundraising (desirable)

Responsibilities

• Support fundraising strategies and donor stewardship across all activities
• Provide admin and finance support, log donations, and generate acknowledgements
• Be the first point of contact for donors, volunteers, and suppliers
• Administer Baby Beat shop operations and retail tasks
• Represent the charity at community events when needed
