Job summary

BNY Pershing is seeking a hands-on Fund Operations professional to support investment transfers, fund applications and client servicing across a global client base. You will work with Fund Managers, Transfer Agents and internal teams to ensure accurate processing, timely updates and compliance with AML and documentation standards.

The role covers fund maintenance, static data updates, corporate actions and various operational reporting tasks, with opportunities to contribute to process

Qualifications

• Experience within investment transfers, fund operations, investment platform operations, transfer agency or financial services processing.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, lookups and pivot tables.
• Experience handling client queries by telephone and email.

Responsibilities

• Processing and monitoring investment transfers, ensuring timely completion.
• Liaising with Fund Managers, Transfer Agents, clients and internal teams to resolve queries.
• Investigating delayed, rejected or incomplete transfers through to resolution.
• Completing fund application forms, AML documentation and internal funds service agreements.
• Supporting the addition of new funds to the service.
• Maintaining funds through static data updates, transfers and corporate actions.
• Completing non-standard product reviews using fund-specific documentation.
• Preparing Share Class Conversion instructions.
• Managing client queries by telephone and email within SLAs.
• Producing monthly MI for clients and Fund Managers.
• Preparing internal KRIs, client billing, scorecards and ownership reports.
• Supporting testing for system releases and functional changes.
• Participating in weekend or early-morning testing when required.
• Reviewing/updating operational procedures to maintain accuracy and audit readiness.
• Supporting process improvements and efficiency initiatives.

Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a leading global financial services organisation within its Fund Operations team, supporting investment banks, broker-dealers, wealth managers, financial planners and advisers across EMEA.

This is a hands-on operational role focused on investment transfers, fund applications, fund maintenance, client processing, AML documentation, static data, corporate actions and operational reporting.

The successful candidate will work closely with Fund Managers, Transfer Agents, clients and internal operational teams, ensuring transfer requests, fund documentation and related operational activities are completed accurately and within agreed service levels.

Candidates with direct experience in investment transfers, fund transfers, platform transfers or client asset transfers are particularly encouraged to apply.

The Opportunity

The role offers exposure across a broad range of Fund Operations and transfer-related activities, including:

• Processing and monitoring investment transfers, ensuring requests are completed accurately and within agreed timescales
• Liaising with Fund Managers, Transfer Agents, clients and internal teams to resolve transfer queries and obtain outstanding information

What We’re Looking For
