Job Description

Fund Operations Senior Associate, City of London, £50-55k

Service Onboarding

• Work with the Head of Fund Administration and the Client Service team to manage the onboarding of new Fund Administration services, for new and existing clients.
• Develop and manage relationships with asset manager clients.
• Handle enquiries and instructions from clients, investors and financial intermediaries.
• Ensure service issues are addressed promptly and efficiently.
• Provide support to customers using online portal and platform systems.

Fund Administration

• Carry out administrative tasks, including investor onboarding and application processing.
• Process instructions from our clients and investors, including cash and asset transactions.
• Produce and distribute investor correspondence and reporting.
• Ensure work is carried out in accordance with relevant regulations.

People Development

• Support and train junior members of the team and help them manage their workload.
• Develop members of the team by mentoring them and helping them achieve their objectives.

Data Management

• Ensure the accuracy of new and existing records you are responsible for.
• Cleanse and reconcile data as required.

System

• Assist with the maintenance and improvement of the Firm's proprietary fund services system and associated database.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Fund Operations Senior Associate should have:

• A strong academic background in finance, economics, or a related field.
• Proven experience in fund operations within the fund services industry, ideally Venture Capital.
• Investor onboarding experience.
• AML experience within a Fund Administrator is essential.
• CASS experience is essential.
• Proficiency in financial software and reporting tools.
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
• An understanding of regulatory compliance in the financial services sector.
• Ability to work collaboratively and contribute to team objectives.
