Job summary

Marks Sattin is recruiting a Fund Operations Accountant for an alternative investments firm on an initial 12‑month contract with hybrid working (4 days in office). The role supports capital calls, investor activity and cash management across multiple fund structures.

You will liaise with finance, investment and operations teams, review third‑party deliverables, and contribute to controls and process improvements while aiming for a permanent opportunity.

Qualifications

• Experience in private equity or other alternative investment funds.
• Strong understanding of fund operations and administration processes.
• Experience working with third-party administrators and service providers.
• Excellent organisational and stakeholder management skills.
• Positive, proactive and solutions-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Support capital calls, distributions and investor-related transactions across multiple fund structures.
• Monitor fund cash positions, liquidity requirements and banking activities.
• Review operational deliverables from third-party service providers.
• Assist with investor reporting and fund performance reporting processes.
• Support fund launches, onboarding activities and operational projects.
• Liaise with investors, administrators, custodians and external advisers.
• Maintain and enhance operational controls and procedures.
• Contribute to process improvement and efficiency initiatives.
