Job summary

Taylor Root is recruiting a Fund Finance Associate for a leading US law firm in its London office. The role suits a lawyer with 3–5 years’ PQE (strong 2PQE considered) and solid onshore fund finance experience.

You will work on lender- and borrower-side matters, including subscription line facilities, NAV facilities, and hybrid lending, with significant cross-border exposure and collaboration across global teams.

Qualifications

• Onshore fund finance experience essential.
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills required.
• Ability to manage workload across multiple jurisdictions.
• Experience advising lenders, sponsors or fund clients within an international or leading City practice.
• High academic achievement and training contract experience.
• Strong interest in developing specialization in fund finance.

Responsibilities

• Draft, negotiate and run transactions from an early stage.
• Support fund finance mandates on complex cross-border matters.
• Collaborate with international teams across the Americas, EMEA and APAC.
