Base pay range

This is an exceptional opportunity for a senior professional within the valuations team of a highly prestigious hedge fund in London. Due to numerous years of standout performance, they are looking to add an experienced professional to support their cross-asset valuation platform.

This is a new role reporting to a successful Head of Fund Finance. It will work alongside a well-established team responsible for fund accounting and valuations, primarily focusing on valuations for hedge fund products (equities, bonds, complex derivatives) and some private equity valuations. The role involves implementing valuation methodologies and models to determine fair value, considering market data, pricing models, and risk factors. It will have significant exposure across the business, with regular interactions with different teams. The role has a 60/40 split between valuation work and process improvement work, with a preference for candidates with strong SQL or Python skills, an interest in tech/systems projects, and the ability to initiate new ideas and collaborate with the tech team on projects.

The firm seeks qualified accountants with experience in complex products. Candidates should have strong academic backgrounds and excellent communication skills. Experience with improvement projects and strong Excel/SQL skills are desirable. The salary offers a significant uplift based on experience, with potential for 40%+ bonuses in the first year.
