Job description

An interim Fund Accountant role for a market leading financial services group in Manchester, for six months.

A market leading Financial Services Group in Manchester.

Your new role

An interim Fund Accountant / Finance Manager role, reporting to the Fund Financial Controller and responsible for all the reporting on a portfolio of client funds. The role will include:

1. The production of Statutory Reporting, Investor Reporting, Board Papers, NAV Calculations, Income Distribution Calculations and Income Tax and VAT Returns for the UK, Ireland & Jersey Funds or Special Purpose Vehicles where required.
2. Ensuring that appropriate records are maintained for entities and underlying assets on ERP system.
3. Building, developing and maintaining good working relationships between the team and its internal/external clients and suppliers.
4. With the support of senior team members, ensure that group policies are complied with and work to continue to refine existing procedures and processes.
5. Providing oversight of loan administration and produce compliance reporting where required.
6. Providing oversight of and involvement in invoice authorisation and cash management operations.
7. The completion of other ad-hoc projects and tasks, as required.

What you'll need to succeed

You will be a fully qualified accountant, with experience of Fund Accounting. Previous experience of property accounting could be an advantage. You will have experience of ERP systems and strong Excel skills. Previous experience of Yardi ERP would be advantageous. Experience of preparing financial statements under both FRS 102 and IFRS (both standalone and consolidated). Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. You will be focused on delivering solutions with agreed time frames and have the ability to remain calm, when working under pressure.
