Donard Recruitment Ltd is recruiting for a Hybrid Functional Specialist role in the UK. You will assess a range of health conditions for the Government's disability allowance (PIP) and deliver both in-person and virtual assessments with empathy and thoroughness.

The position offers a starting salary of £39,500 with a potential to rise to £40,500 on DWP approval, plus a bonus scheme subject to quality and performance.

Formación

• Qualified Nurse, Mental Health Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist or Paramedic.
• 1+ years post qualification experience.
• Valid registration on NMC or HCPC without restrictions.
• Excellent communication skills and strong IT literacy.

Responsabilidades

• Manage caseloads end to end including face-to-face and virtual assessments, telephone assessments, initial review calls and paper-based reports (PBR).
• Provide comprehensive, unbiased assessments for the Government's disability allowance (PIP).
• Deliver assessments with a personalised, inclusive and empathetic service.
• Balance breaks, CPD, audits and team meetings within the working rota.

Your New Role:

• As a multi-skilled Functional Specialist, you will manage caseloads from end to end which includes delivering face to face and virtual assessments, telephone assessments, initial review calls and paper based reports (PBR).
• As a multi-skilled Functional Specialist, you will have greater job variety and autonomy to manage cases to conclusion.
• You will assess the full range of health conditions and disabilities affecting the claimant, including physical, sensory, mental, intellectual and cognitive impairments.
• You will have time built into your working rota for breaks, CPD, audit amendments, requesting and reviewing further evidence and team meetings.
