Job summary

KM Education Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Functional Skills Tutor to deliver engaging training sessions in Maths and English. The successful candidate will possess a Level 3 Teaching qualification and experience in in-person training. This full-time, permanent role based in Nottinghamshire offers a salary up to £35,000, depending on skills and experience.

Essential Criteria:

• Must have experience of delivering Functional Skills Maths AND English.
• Hold a recognised Level 3 Teaching qualification (PTLLS/AET or equivalent).
• Hold a Maths and/or English level 2 / equivalent.
• Must have experience of delivering in-person training to small groups of learners.

Duties:

• Deliver Functional Skills English and Maths within a classroom environment.
• Utiliseexisting delivery resources, as well as preparing own when required.
• Deliver engaging training sessions and provide ongoing IAG to learners.
• The successful candidate will be flexible with their delivery methods, providing differentiation and be able to adapt quickly to learners needs.
• Assist learners in identifying the skills required to progress towards their career aspirations.
• The successful candidate must be engaging and able to demonstrate energy and passion to motivate / train clients in order to help learners realisetheir potential.
• Promote Equality and Diversity, Safeguarding and Health and Safety.
