Prospero Teaching is seeking compassionate Maths and English Tutors in the Durham area to support students permanently excluded from mainstream schools. You will work with KS3/KS4 students one-to-one or in small groups to help them reconnect with learning in a safe, supportive setting.
Sessions will be face-to-face in a community setting or at the young person's home. You will deliver personalised lessons, monitor progress, and complete attendance and reports to track development.

Prospero Teaching is looking for committed Maths and English Tutors to support students in the Durham area who have been permanently excluded from mainstream schools. These young people face unique challenges and are not currently enrolled in full-time education.
You will work with Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students on a one-to-one or small group basis, providing a safe, supportive, and motivating environment to help them reconnect with learning.
This role involves supporting young learners who may have been out of school for a while and face emotional or social barriers to education. We need Tutors who are patient, adaptable, and passionate about helping students overcome obstacles and build confidence in their Maths and English skills.
Sessions will take place face to face either in a community setting or at the young persons home.
