Job summary

ProsperoTeaching is seeking an experienced Functional Skills Maths Tutor to work with learners in Wrexham. This role involves delivering personalised 1:1 tuition to help students progress towards Functional Skills qualifications and improve numeracy skills.

The ideal candidate has a strong Maths background, previous teaching or tutoring experience, and a learner-focused approach. Flexible hours range from 5 to 15 per week, with September 2026 start and ongoing duration.

The Opportunity

We are currently recruiting Functional Skills Maths Tutors to provide personalised 1:1 tuition to learners who require additional support with their Maths education.

You'll help students develop essential numeracy skills and work towards their Functional Skills qualifications, tailoring sessions to their current ability and individual goals.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Maths teacher or tutor who enjoys helping learners overcome gaps in their education and build confidence.

Experience, Training and Qualifications
