Job summary

Uxbridge College in Hayes, Greater London is seeking a Lecturer to deliver Functional Skills in Maths, English and ICT up to Level 2 for Apprentices across a range of frameworks. The role is based at Hayes Campus with travel to other campuses as required, and a maternity cover until 13 June 2027.

You should have at least Level 3 qualification, ideally a degree, experience delivering these subjects, and the ability to motivate Apprentices aged 16+.

Qualifications

• Qualified to a minimum of Level 3, preferably a degree level.
• Experience delivering Maths, English and ICT Functional Skills successfully.
• Ability to motivate and engage groups of Apprentices aged 16+.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Functional Skills in Maths, English and ICT up to Level 2 for Apprentices.
• Support learners throughout the programme with their Functional Skills.
• Contribute to progress reviews and setting learners' targets.
