  • Conduct regular learner progress reviews, update targets and take prompt action where progress, attendance or engagement is a concern.
  • Use OneFile to maintain accurate and timely records of teaching, assessment, feedback, reviews, targets and learner progress.
  • Identify additional learning support needs, make appropriate referrals and adjustments, and liaise with relevant teams regarding examination access arrangements.
  • Work closely with coaches, Programme Leaders, employers and College support teams to help apprentices achieve successfully and on time.
  • Participate in standardisation and quality assurance activity and work in line with safeguarding, health and safety, College and awarding organisation requirements.

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to motivate apprentices of different ages and starting points.
  • An understanding of additional learning support, reasonable adjustments and examination access arrangements.
  • The ability to deliver Functional Skills mathematics up to and including Level 2 is desirable, as is experience of OneFile and apprenticeship provision.
