Job summary

Morgan Hunt UK Limited is recruiting a GCSE & Functional Skills English & Maths Lecturer for a South Yorkshire college. This full-time temporary role offers 37 hours per week and a pay rate of £26.00–£31.00 per hour, depending on experience.

You will deliver lessons, plan and assess in line with awarding body requirements, monitor progress and maintain accurate records, contributing to a positive learning environment and helping learners reach their potential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience teaching Functional Skills English & Maths within FE college or Training Provider.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and effective Functional Skills English & Maths lessons to students from entry level to level 1.
• Plan, prepare and assess lessons in line with awarding body requirements.

Morgan Hunt is currently recruiting for an experienced GCSE & Functional Skills English & Maths Lecturer to join a well-established college in South Yorkshire on a full-time temporary contract.

Role Details

• Position: GCSE & Functional Skills English & Maths Lecturer (Entry level 1 to level 1)
• Location: South Yorkshire
• Contract: Full-time, Temporary (37 Hours per week Monday to Friday)
• Pay Rate: £26.00 - £31.00 per hour (depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and effective Functional Skills English & Maths lessons to students from entry level to level 1.

Essential Requirements

• Previous experience teaching Functional Skills English & Maths within a Further Education college or Training Provider
• A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS, or equivalent).
• A relevant degree or recognised qualification in a related subject.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage learners with diverse needs.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
