Job summary

Teaching Personnel in Bacup, Lancashire is seeking a part-time Functional Skills Tutor to provide one-to-one tuition in English and Maths. You will tailor lessons to individual needs, including learners with SEN/SEND, and help students build confidence and essential life skills.

The role is part-time during weekday school hours with competitive hourly rates and ongoing consultant support from Teaching Personnel. DBS enhanced checks and UK work eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of teaching experience in the UK.
• Experience delivering Functional Skills or core subject tuition.
• Experience supporting learners with SEN/SEND is desirable.
• Strong knowledge of Functional Skills English and Maths.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
• Right to work in the UK.

Part-Time | Weekday School Hours

Are you an experienced educator passionate about helping learners develop essential skills and achieve their qualifications? We are seeking a dedicated Functional Skills Tutor to provide personalised one-to-one tuition to students in Bacup (OL13), Lancashire.

The Role

As a Functional Skills Tutor, you will support students in developing their English and Maths Functional Skills, tailoring lessons to their individual learning needs. You may work with learners who require additional support, including those with SEN/SEND, helping them overcome barriers to learning and build confidence.
