Everpool Recruitment is seeking Functional Assessors for hybrid roles across England. You’ll conduct telephone, video and face-to-face assessments to explore how health conditions affect daily activities and work, review medical evidence and health questionnaires.

Full training is provided with a comprehensive 12-week programme. The role is full-time, Monday–Friday, with hybrid working, generous bonuses and progression to £42,000+ after milestones.

Formación

• At least 1 year of post-registration experience in an adult setting.
• Active NMC/HCPC registration for 1+ year.
• Strong communication and assessment skills.
• Excellent report-writing and typing skills.
• Good IT skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage own caseload.

You’ll use your existing clinical knowledge and assessment skills in a new way, helping to assess how health conditions affect people's everyday lives and ability to work.

You’ll need:

• At least 1 year of recent post-registration experience in a relevant adult setting
• At least 1 year of active NMC or HCPC registration
• Strong communication and assessment skills
• Excellent report-writing and typing skills
• Good IT skills
• The ability to work independently and manage your own caseload

PIP Functional Assessor

Starting at £40,000

Increases to £41,000 after 6 months (if performance objectives are met), then again after 12 months to £42,000 plus eligibility for the bonus structure scheme (3 assessments per day)

Roles are subject to availability and service requirements in each geographical area. Ideally, candidates should be open to either PIP or WCA. Where possible, we may be able to accommodate a preference, although this cannot be guaranteed.

Successful candidates will complete a comprehensive 12-week training programme, covering:

• Assessment techniques
• DWP guidelines and requirements
• Report writing
• Functional assessment skills
• Role-specific training and support

You don't need previous Functional Assessor experience — your clinical experience and transferable assessment skills are what matter.
