Everpool Recruitment is recruiting hybrid remote Functional Assessors who will work from home and in the office in Gloucester and across the south of England.

We are hiring nurses, occupational therapists and physiotherapists with at least 1 year post-registration experience. No weekends, no bank holidays, regular hours, and a comprehensive training program.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 1-year post-registration in a relevant adult setting.
• Registration: Must have at least 1 year of active registration with NMC or HCPC.
• Skills: Strong communication, effective assessment, typing/report-writing, and IT skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Assessments: Evaluate claimants' health and work capabilities via phone and face-to-face assessments.
• Review Evidence: Analyse medical evidence and health questionnaires.
• Compile Reports: Produce detailed reports for the DWP.

Salary:

WCA Functional Assessor - £42,000 moving to £43,000 after 12 months + Excellent Bonus Scheme. Also a £2000 salary increase when you start doing face to face assessments.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm

Role Overview:

• Conduct Assessments:Evaluate claimants' health and/or work capabilities via phone and face-to-face assessments.
• Review Evidence:analyse medical evidence, health questionnaires, and daily living activities.
• Compile Reports:Produce detailed reports for the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).

Example Tasks:

• Interview claimants to understand their health conditions and daily challenges.
• Review medical records and write comprehensive reports.
• Provide recommendations based on thorough assessments.

Successful candidates will complete a 12-week comprehensive training program covering (amongst other things):

• Assessment Techniques:Best practices for accurate evaluations.
• DWP Guidelines:Requirements and guidelines of the Department for Work and Pensions.
• Report Writing:Skills for detailed and objective reporting.
