Job summary

Everpool Recruitment is recruiting a Functional Assessor for roles across England, working in hybrid remote arrangements. The position focuses on assessing health and work capabilities, producing detailed reports for DWP, with training provided.

The role requires registered nurses or allied health professionals with at least 1 year post-registration experience, strong communication and IT/report-writing skills. Includes 9am-5pm, Monday-Friday shifts, no overnights or weekends.

Qualifications

• 1+ year post-registration experience in an adult health setting.
• Active NMC or HCPC registration (minimum 1 year).
• Excellent communication and report-writing abilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments of claimants' health and work capabilities via phone and face-to-face.
• Review medical evidence, health questionnaires, and daily living activities.
• Compile detailed, objective reports for the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).
• Interview claimants to understand their health conditions and day-to-day challenges.

The Role:

Training:

Who We Need:

• Registered Adult Nurses (Adult, Mental Health, Learning Disability, General)
• Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Paramedics, and Pharmacists (Adult-focused)
• Minimum 1 year's post-registration experience in a relevant adult setting
• At least 1 year of active NMC or HCPC registration
• Strong communication, assessment skills, and confident report-writing/IT skills
