Everpool Recruitment is recruiting for PIP Functional Assessors in Brighton. This role leverages your nursing or Allied Health background to assess how health conditions affect daily living, with structured telephone, video and in-person assessments.

Full training provided and a clear path to professional development. Salary starts at £45,000 with progression to £46,000 after six months and £47,000 after 12 months.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months post-qualification clinical experience
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
• Confidence interpreting clinical information
• Good written communication and report-writing skills
• Strong IT literacy, including Microsoft Office
• Full Right to Work in the UK
• Must live within 90 minutes of Brighton
• Able to attend the assessment centre at least 3 days per week

Salary: £45,000 rising to £47,000 + Bonus

• Free eye tests every 2 yearsWhat Will You Actually Be Doing? As a PIP Functional Assessor, you’ll use your clinical knowledge and professional judgement to understand how physical and mental health conditions affect an individuals ability to manage everyday activities.

You’ll:

• Conduct structured telephone, video and face-to-face assessments
• Explore how health conditions affect daily living, mobility and independence
• Review clinical histories, medical evidence and supporting information
• Use your clinical reasoning to ask relevant questions and understand functional limitations
• Produce clear, accurate and evidence-based assessment reports
• Work within a structured clinical environment with ongoing professional supportYou still be assessing, analysing and applying your clinical knowledge, just without the traditional demands of frontline clinical shifts.

Who Can Apply? We're looking for:

• Registered Nurses: RGN, RMN or RNLD with active NMC registration
• Physiotherapists with active HCPC registration
• Occupational Therapists with active HCPC registration
• Paramedics with active HCPC registration
• Pharmacists with active GPhC registration

Essential Requirements:
