Everpool Recruitment is seeking a Functional Assessor for Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Paramedics, and Pharmacists in Weston-super-Mare. Qualifikationen

• At least 1 year of recent post-registration experience in a relevant adult setting.
• At least 1 year of active NMC, HCPC or GPHC registration.
• Strong communication and assessment skills.
• Excellent report-writing and typing skills.
• Good IT skills.
• The ability to work independently and manage your own caseload.

Aufgaben

• Conduct telephone and face‑to‑face assessments with claimants.
• Explore how health conditions affect everyday activities and work.
• Review medical evidence and health questionnaires.
• Ask detailed questions about functional ability.
• Use your critical thinking and clinical reasoning skills.
• Produce clear, accurate and objective reports for the DWP.
• Make recommendations based on your assessment findings.
