Job summary

SJB Medical is seeking a Functional Assessor (OT/Physio/Paramedic) for its UK centres. The role focuses on conducting functional assessments to support health-related benefit applications, with regular hours, no nights or weekends.

Qualifications

• Be a registered healthcare professional with a relevant clinical background.
• Demonstrate strong communication, assessment and report-writing skills.
• Experience in a multidisciplinary healthcare team is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct functional assessments and produce clear, accurate reports.
• Assess a wide range of physical and mental health conditions using clinical judgement.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.
• Maintain records in line with clinical governance and quality standards.
• Engage in training, CPD and clinical supervision.
• Deliver assessments with empathy, professionalism and integrity.
