Job summary

GI Group Main Account in the UK is recruiting a fully qualified Level 6 BSL/English Interpreter for a permanent, fully remote Video Remote Interpreting service. You will provide accurate, impartial interpreting on live video calls, supporting Deaf and hard of hearing service users across the UK in healthcare and public sector settings. The role offers daytime shifts, with full-time hours and pro-rated benefits for part-time.

Qualifications

• Current NRCPD or RBSLI registration and RSLI status.
• MA/PGDip/NVQ Level 6 in BSL/English Interpreting/Translating.
• Experience interpreting within public sector environments (NHS, local authorities).
• Strong IT confidence and ability to work remotely.

Responsibilities

• Interpret spoken English on live video appointments.
• Support NHS and local authority appointments.
• Maintain high standards of accuracy, confidentiality, safeguarding and impartiality.
• Work within a Monday–Friday service.
• Follow full-time/part-time shift patterns as listed.
