Job summary

Carlisle Diocese is seeking a Growing Younger Mission & Discipleship Enabler to work with St James’ & St Mark’s churches in Barrow-in-Furness. You will help develop creative and sustainable opportunities for children and young people to encounter Jesus, grow in faith and become active church members.

Joining a wider team, you will build relationships with local schools, equip volunteer leaders and explore new ways of engaging families and young people.

Qualifications

• Experience in children's and youth ministry.
• Heart for sharing the gospel with the next generation.
• Ability to encourage, equip and work alongside others.

Responsibilities

• Develop children's and youth ministry and build relationships with schools.
• Create creative, sustainable opportunities for children and families to encounter Jesus.
• Equip volunteer leaders and grow missional communities.
• Work with clergy, volunteers and local partners in Barrow.
