Job summary

St Paul’s CofE Primary School & Nursery in Farnham, Surrey, is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our welcoming team. This full-time role supports pupils in the classroom, delivers interventions and provides 1:1 or small-group support to children who need extra help to succeed.

You will work with teachers to create engaging learning experiences, help build a safe, inclusive environment and develop relationships with children, families and staff.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils' learning and development in the classroom.
• Work closely with teachers to deliver engaging learning experiences.
• Provide targeted support for individual pupils and small groups.
• Help create a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
• Encourage children to become confident, independent learners.
• You may also have the opportunity to support pupils within Evergreen, our specialist nurture provision, where we help children develop the confidence, emotional regulation and resilience they need to thrive in school.
