Job summary

Mencap in Havant is seeking a compassionate, full-time Support Worker to assist with daily activities and emotional support for people with a learning disability. A Relief Support Worker role is also available to cover shifts.

We offer 37.5-hour contracts, 24/7 service coverage with rotas planned four weeks ahead, and a non-contractual sleep-in option with enhanced £64.20 pay. DBS checks and sponsorship are considered where possible, with ongoing training and an inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• A genuine passion for supporting others.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• A positive and empathetic attitude towards individuals with learning disabilities.
• Driver preferred but not essential.
