TeacherActive is working with a mainstream secondary school in South Birmingham to appoint a dedicated Attendance Officer. The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, 08:30–15:30/16:00, focusing on monitoring attendance and safeguarding collaboration.

You will engage with students, parents and staff to improve attendance and wellbeing. The ideal candidate will have GCSE English and Maths, experience in attendance or pastoral support, and familiarity with MIS such as SIMS, Arbor or Bromcom.

Competenze

• GCSE English and Maths or equivalent.
• Previous attendance/safeguarding or pastoral support experience.
• Experience with school MIS systems (SIMS/Arbor/Bromcom).
• Understand safeguarding procedures and attendance policies.
• Excellent communication, organisation and IT skills.
• Proactive, professional, and confidential handling of information.
