Overview

RDA Accountants UK is recruiting aSenior Qualified Accountantto join our team on a part-time basis. This role will be based in ourShoreham-by-Sea office, supporting a small portfolio of client businesses. The role involves delivering reconciliations, adjustments, management reporting, forecasting, and the development of management information dashboards.

You will work closely with ouroutsourced finance team, includingfinance executives,systems and data analysts, and aclient-facing partnerto deliver consistent, high-quality financial insight and strategic support.

Key Responsibilities

• Accounting Oversight
• Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts and general ledgers
• Posting and reviewing accruals, prepayments, journals, and adjustments
• Finalising monthly management accounts
• Management Reporting and MI Development
• Producing bespoke management reports and board packs
• Designing and maintaining MI dashboards tailored to client KPIs
• Presenting reports and financial narratives to clients
• Forecasting and Cashflow Planning
• Creating and updating performance forecasts and models
• Preparing cashflow forecasts and scenario plans
• UsingFutrli, Fathom, and Syft Analyticsto develop forecasting tools aligned to client needs
• Strategic and Commercial Support
• Acting as the key finance point of contact for assigned clients
• Supporting clients with strategic decision-making and commercial planning
• Working with finance executives to ensure timely and accurate processing
• Liaising with systems and data teams to align financial data with operational goals

Candidate Profile

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Aqualified accountant(ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with 5+ years PQE
• Experienced in financial control, reporting, and forecasting
• Commercially aware, analytically strong, and able to translate data into insight
• Proficient with cloud-based accounting and forecasting tools
• Comfortable working with multiple clients and adapting to varied business models
• A confident communicator with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
