Job summary

TimePlan Education is seeking a caring, resilient SEND Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school in Northstowe, supporting pupils with Autism, MLD and SLD. In this full-time role you will work as part of a supportive team, helping learners access lessons, develop life skills and build confidence.

You will provide one-to-one and small-group support, assist with structured activities, and contribute to EHCP targets.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with SEND (ASD/MLD/SLD or complex needs)
• Empathetic, patient and positive attitude
• Strong communication, resilience and teamwork skills
• Reliable transport to school location
• DBS check in place or willing to apply

Responsibilities

• One-to-one support for students with ASD/MLD/SLD
• Small-group support and structured learning activities
• Assisting with communication support and sensory needs
• Support EHCP targets and behavior regulation in class
