You will help pupils engage with learning, develop communication and independence, regulate emotions and get the most from each school day. Some pupils may require personal care, so patience and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in SEN, care, support work, residential care, youth work or similar environments.
• Strong transferable experience helping individuals with additional or complex needs.
• Patience, empathy, reliability and willingness to get involved are essential.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with a range of complex needs, including ASD, SLD and MLD.
• Help pupils engage with learning, develop communication and independence, regulate emotions.
