Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment LTD. is seeking a Teacher of RE and English in Sefton, starting after the October half-term break. This full-time temporary role runs until Christmas, offering a chance for experienced teachers or confident ECTs to cover a short-term assignment.

The candidate will teach RE and English to secondary students, plan engaging lessons, and monitor progress. DBS updates and commitment to pupil achievement are required.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to teach RE and English at secondary level.
• Strong subject knowledge in RE and English.
• Excellent classroom management and behaviour management skills.
• Ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons across both subjects.
• Commitment to pupil progress and high attainment.

Responsibilities

• Teach RE and English across the secondary age range.
• Plan and deliver well-structured, engaging lessons.
• Assess pupil progress and provide feedback.
• Support pupils with different abilities and learning needs.
