Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment LTD. are seeking a qualified Primary SEN Teacher to work in a specialist setting in Shirebrook. You will deliver engaging, differentiated lessons and support pupils with high behavioural needs within a Multi-Academy Trust environment.

A calm, resilient approach is essential as you manage complex behaviours with TA support. The role is full-time, based on a daily rate of £160–£232, with the exact pay depending on experience and budget.

Qualifications

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and primary teaching experience.
• Experience supporting pupils with SEN and challenging behaviour.
• Strong behaviour management and ability to create calm learning environments.
• Ability to differentiate lessons for pupils with high behavioural needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons within a primary SEN classroom.
• Support pupils with complex needs and challenging behaviours.
• Manage behaviour effectively with clear boundaries and routines.
• Adapt teaching approaches to meet individual learning needs.
• Work with Teaching Assistants to support the class.
• Promote pupils' engagement, development and independence.
