Job summary

Greensleeves Care delivers 24-hour residential, dementia and nursing care to older people across 26 care homes in England, and is an accredited Living Wage employer.

Qualifications

• Understanding residents' needs and confidentiality are important.
• QCF Level 2 in Care or equivalent is desirable.
• Experience providing care is desirable.
• Experience of working with elders is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Give support and care to the residents whilst maintaining their rights to independence, privacy, dignity and choice and assist in their daily living.
• Assist residents who require help to dress/undress, wash, and bath and use the toilet.
• Assist residents with mobility problems and other physical disabilities including the use and care of aids and personal equipment.
• Assist residents who need help with personal hygiene e.g. incontinence.
• Promote and adhere to Greensleeves Care -Workplace values of respect, openness and responsibility.
