Mitie Group plc. is seeking a Painter and Decorator for the Mitie Painting division at 1156 Aztec West, Almondsbury, Bristol.

The role is permanent, full‑time (39 hours weekly) with duties covering internal and external painting, surface preparation, and repairs as directed by management. The candidate should have recognised painting qualifications or 3 years of verifiable experience, with a preference for an apprenticeship or full driving licence.

Qualifications

• This role requires a recognised painting/decoration qualification or 3 years of verifiable experience.
• Organised, deadline‑mocused and a team player with good customer service.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety requirements and safe use of painting tools.

Responsibilities

• Carry out internal and external painting and decorating to high standards.
• Prepare surfaces, remove paint, and carry out minor repairs when needed.
• Keep paint stocks monitored and request replenishment as required.
• Attend site inductions, follow risk assessments, and use PPE.
• Maintain time sheets and liaise with site management on progress.
