East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking a full-time Nursery Assistant for the Conquest Hospital site in Hastings. This maternity cover role requires an NVQ Level 2 in Childcare & Education and ideally Level 3, with responsibilities including planning activities, maintaining ratios, and supporting staff to deliver quality care for children aged 4 months to 8 years.

You will assist with daily routines, communicate with parents, and contribute to a caring, safe environment.

Competenze

• NVQ level 2 in Childcare and Education is required.
• Level 3 in childcare & Education is required.
• Previous experience with under-5s preferred.

Mansioni

• Assist the Management team in providing high quality childcare and education.
• Plan educational activities and maintain child-to-staff ratios.
• Communicate with parents and carers about their child’s day.
• Support nursery routines and behaviour management according to policies.
