Reeson Education is working with a welcoming secondary school in the M24 area of Manchester that is looking for a dedicated Maths Teacher to join its team. The school is committed to fostering a positive learning environment and helping every pupil reach their potential.

We are seeking a Maths Teacher to start ASAP on a full-time, long-term basis, delivering engaging lessons across the secondary age range and helping pupils build confidence in mathematics and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• QTS is essential for this role.
• Experience teaching maths in a UK secondary school is essential.
• Strong subject knowledge of the secondary maths curriculum.
• Effective classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Ability to engage, motivate and support pupils of varying abilities.
• Excellent communication, organisation and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging maths lessons in line with the secondary curriculum.
• Adapt teaching to support pupils with different abilities and needs.
• Monitor, assess and record student progress with constructive feedback.
• Support pupils in developing confidence, reasoning and problem-solving skills.
• Maintain positive behaviour and classroom management.
• Create an inclusive learning environment encouraging student success.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support curriculum delivery and pupil progress.
