Job summary

Solvit Recruitment are seeking an HGV Class 1 ADR Driver for a full-time role based in Bootle. Start times 04:00–07:00, Monday to Friday, with weekend work as required. The role involves deliveries and collections in a curtainsider, with loads rotated and nights out planned in advance.

This is a temp-to-perm position after 13 weeks, with overtime paid after 40 hours. Benefits include health and wellbeing programmes, private medical and dental insurance, and a company pension.

Qualifications

• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
• Tanker driver experience required.
• In date ADR certificate.
• CPC and Tachograph required.
• 2 years C&E experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication.
• No DR, DD, TT or IN10.

Responsibilities

• Deliveries and collections with a curtainsider; plan loads.
• Ensure load is secure and curtains are closed.
• Comply with all traffic laws and hazardous waste regulations.
• Complete all paperwork accurately and on time.
