Job summary

Driver Hire Manchester is seeking a reliable HGV Class 2 ADR Driver for Trafford Park, Manchester, to collect and transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste across the North West and nationally. You will drive 18t/7.5t vehicles, perform vehicle checks, and ensure ADR compliance while delivering professional service on-site.

The role is full-time, on a contract basis with a 13-week temp-to-perm path. A valid Class 2, ADR, CPC, and tachograph card are required, with overtime opportunities and a

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 HGV Licence (Cat C).
• ADR Licence (packages) required.
• Digital tachograph card and CPC qualification.
• Knowledge of driver hours and transport regulations.

Responsibilities

• Collection and delivery of hazardous waste.
• Transporting drums, IBCs, and industrial packaging safely and efficiently
• Completing vehicle checks and transport paperwork
• Ensuring compliance with ADR and transport legislation
• Maintaining high standards of health & safety
• Assisting with loading/unloading where required
• Providing excellent customer service on site visits
