Job summary

Dentalcare Bath is a mixed NHS/Private practice seeking a friendly Dental Receptionist to join our team. You will welcome patients, answer calls, and keep the front desk organized in a warm, professional environment.

We offer 40 hours per week with negotiable pay based on experience, training on our systems, up to 28 days holiday, and ongoing support from managers and directors in a friendly, supportive workplace.

Qualifications

• Experience in dental reception or front-of-house preferred.
• Computer skills are essential.
• GCSE or equivalent qualification completed.

Responsibilities

• Welcome visitors, residents, families and staff in a friendly and professional manner.
• Answer and direct telephone calls and respond to enquiries appropriately.
• Manage reception duties and ensure the front desk is kept organized and welcoming.
• Maintain accurate records and assist with general administration.
• Receive and distribute correspondence, deliveries and messages.
• Liaise effectively with staff, residents, families and external professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome visitors, residents, families and staff in a friendly and professional manner.
• Answer and direct telephone calls and respond to enquiries appropriately.
• Manage reception duties and ensure the front desk is kept organised and welcoming.
• Maintain accurate records and assist with general administration.
• Receive and distribute correspondence, deliveries and messages.
• Liaise effectively with staff, residents, families and external professionals.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow company policies and procedures.
• Support the wider team with administrative tasks when required.
• Prioritise workload effectively and remain calm during busy periods.

About You

• We are ideally looking for a candidate with a dental receptionist background or someone with reception/front of house experience
• A committed and hardworking individual who has the drive to succeed
• Able to work calmly and effectively under pressure.
• Discreet and respectful when handling confidential information.
• You will have completed a Secondary / GCSE or similar qualification
• SOE experience is preferred but not essential
• Computer skills are essential
