Dentalcare Bath is seeking a friendly Dental Receptionist to join our NHS/Private practice. You will welcome patients, manage calls, and keep front desk organised while providing excellent customer service in a busy but supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in dental reception or front‑of‑house roles.
• Ability to work calmly under pressure.
• Completed GCSE or equivalent.
• SOE experience preferred but not essential.
• Computer skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Welcome visitors, residents, families and staff in a friendly and professional manner.
• Answer and direct telephone calls and respond to enquiries appropriately.
• Manage reception duties and ensure the front desk is kept organised and welcoming.
• Maintain accurate records and assist with general administration.
• Receive and distribute correspondence, deliveries and messages.
• Liaise effectively with staff, residents, families and external professionals.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow company policies and procedures.
• Support the wider team with administrative tasks when required.
• Prioritise workload effectively and remain calm during busy periods.

• Hours - We are looking for an applicant who can work40 hours per week

Key responsibilities

About You

• We are ideally looking for a candidate with a dental receptionist background or someone with reception/front of house experience
• A committed and hardworking individual who has the drive to succeed
• Able to work calmly and effectively under pressure.
• Discreet and respectful when handling confidential information.
• You will have completed a Secondary / GCSE or similar qualification
• SOE experience is preferred but not essential
• Computer skills are essential
