Career Teachers is recruiting a dedicated Computer Science and ICT Teacher for a full-time, long‑term role in Wakefield. The position runs from January 2027 through April 2027 and covers KS3 and KS4 with planning, preparation and assessment duties.

The ideal candidate holds QTS or equivalent, has recent UK secondary experience, and can commit to the full term. DBS via Update Service or willingness to obtain one is required.

Qualifications

• Hold QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
• Recent experience teaching Computer Science and/or ICT in a UK secondary school
• Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one

Responsibilities

• Teach Computer Science and ICT across KS3 and KS4
• Plan, prepare and assess student work
• Full-time commitment from January 2027 to April 2027
• Contribute to a supportive department and school environment
